My Story
I grew up Christian but left the Church when I was 17. At 19 however, I had a radical encounter with the Holy Spirit and committed my life to walking by his leading. This led my wife and I from Texas to Kansas City to join a community modeled after the Acts church. (I thought we were going to revolutionize the gathering, and return it to its roots). Instead, on Christmas Eve 1 month after our arrival, my parents and grandmother were killed in a car accident. Less than a year later the ministry fell apart, and the next 15 years didn't get any smoother.
Failed businesses, cross country moves, layoffs, having to live with family and friends; yet through every situation the Lord was with us, showing up in miraculous ways. Finally in 2024 I thought things were going to calm down. My business was growing, we were involved in our community, I thought we had arrived. But instead, a once in a generation market correction crippled my business, and by the end of the year I had to shut it down, throwing our whole life into chaos once again. In the midst of the collapse, on my 40th birthday, the Lord told me it was time to start preaching.
So, while I watched my last 5 years and over a million dollars in investment money go up in flames, I began preaching on TikTok. 8 months and 30k followers later, my life has once again taken on a new configuration. I can’t say I fully understand my path, but one thing is clear: the world is looking for a gospel that’s more than stories and spectacle. They are looking for a Jesus that is powerful and present. And while I would have liked an easier path, it was on this path that I met the Jesus they’re looking for. In the depths of my darkest depressions, on the moors of my most desparate moments, in the shattered remains of my broken dreams, he was there. So while I don’t know what lay ahead, whether the Lord will keep me in the business of ministry, or return me to the ministry of business, I do know this: the Jesus the world is looking for is real. And if this was the path I had to walk to find him, then I’d walk it again gladly.
"The only way to fix the world is to heal the people, and the only person who can do that, is Jesus."

Digital Missionary
When I started preaching online I never envisioned it going beyond putting out videos and hoping that it would impact a few people. What I learned is that the web is a doorway to peoples lives, and if we're intentional about it, that doorway can lead to real change in the real world.
Today that looks like preaching on TikTok, but as the platform grows, I will be adding digital discipleship groups, community resources, and tools to continue helping the body grow up and reach full maturity.

Christian Speaker
If we're to speak honestly about faith, we have to be willing to confront the herd of elephants in the room that come with believing in an invisible, all-powerful, all-knowing God. From why is there suffering, to why doesn't God just show himself, I tackle all of the hard topics in hopes that the body will not fear difficult questions, but embrace them.

Author
My writing is my art. Sometimes that means esoteric explorations of perception. Sometimes it looks like frameworks for faith. Sometimes it’s a dismantling of why sin is so stubborn. And sometimes it’s a three-book fiction epic about the long way out of EDEN.
The subjects are always diverse, but the mission never changes: pushing the limits of what words can do. In every book I write my goal is to force the page to conform to an experience, not just deliver information. You may not always love my style, but you will never be bored.
Founder of The Quiet Church
I started The Quiet Church out of obedience to a call to preach. Through that obedience a small but growing community has formed and today I am working to expand into digital discipleship, and other methods to ensure my preaching results in real life transformation.
